ENAQUA was founded in 1985 as Industrial Water Technology, Inc. in order to provide environmentally friendly advanced purfication solutions to the industry.Through years of steady growth, the company was renamed ENAQUA in 2003 in order to emphasize its commitment and strengths in the water purification industry. ENAQUA was founded on the philosophy that technology will prevail, and to this end, ENAQUA's equipment and services maintain a technological edge over those of its comptetitors', with ultraviolet and membrane separation technologies leading the way.
ENAQUA has developed Ultraviolet Disinfecction equipment based on Activated Fluoropolymer Technology (AFP™). The Non-Contact UV technology developed by ENAQUA is unique in the disinfection industry, with performance exceeding other UV technologies that are commercially available. ENAQUA's core business also includes designing and manufacturing Ultrafiltration (UF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems for a wide variety of commercial, industrial and municipal applications. Component distribution is also a key business segment with ENAQUA maintaining a robust inventory of UF and RO membrane elements, UV lamps, RO pressure vessels, filters, and other components commonly used in the water treatment industry. ENAQUA is very happy to work with its OEM and distribution partners in providing materials, products and technology.
